Details about living people are not published. Where a record names someone who may still be living, the record is held privately and the public entry is limited to what is necessary for the historical account.

Sensitive records

Some records in this archive concern enslavement, tribal enrollment and contested identity. They are published because they are the evidence, and are presented with their original wording intact and their context stated.

Corrections
